Hello every one
The "Saleem app" is my capstone project in the UX UI bootcamp.
It is a full UX UI design study, considers about Nutrients tracking for individuals, and tries to solve the problem of diet break and discontinuation by giving a lot of solutions to ease the routine of tracking the diet and nutrients.
I and the team went through these steps:
The Research Plan
the Goals & Questions were scooping on understanding the pain points that yemeni users encounter when they manage nutrition tracking & the highest motivations.
The methods we used were User interviews, a Survey, Disk research, and competitor analysis.
Participants were 5 yemeni users who regularly engage in physical activities and food tracking, including both first-time and habitual users of the nutrition tracking platforms.
The Results
the results shows that most of the participants failed to continue tracking their diet because the other platform's menus didn’t match the local food they eat every day, and that prevents them from continuing tracking their diet.
To extract all the problems we gathered from the survey, we used the affinity diagram, and to make a clear empathy with the user, we made the persona, User journey map, Empathy map, & the Problem statement
We did the Ideation workshop in the HMWs model by giving solutions for the most important problems that faced the users.
The main ideas we end up with were:
the platform offers a local food and recognize its nutrients.
Facilitate tracking using captures from the camera and the AI recognize the meal.
Nutritionist consultant is available.
Work outs tracking option.
A community option is available.
we started to make the Sketches and the wireframes to visualize our main ideas
and then we made the User Flow Chart and the
Low fidelity prototypes
and to test the prototypes we made the Usability test, and we made the proper iterations.
We made a competitive analysis to get an idea about the existed nutrients tracking apps visually.
The design inception worksheet & the Mood board helped us to put our inception about the overall look of the app.
Finally we made the Design system, High fidelity prototypes and the journey ends up with the Mockups
